The Legacy Fund — Troy Alumni Chapter, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Our goal is simple: 1,000 people giving $100 each — $100,000 — to purchase a property in Troy, Alabama, a permanent home to continue the fraternity's work in this community.

The Work Deserves a Permanent Home

The brothers of the Troy Alumni Chapter serve Troy and the surrounding community — and they do it without a permanent home of their own. Every gathering, every effort, every plan starts from scratch, borrowed space and temporary arrangements.

A property of our own changes that. It gives the chapter's work a fixed address in Troy — a place that is still there after the event ends. The Legacy Fund exists for one purpose: to buy that property.

How It Works

1. Pick your brother. Scroll the faces below and choose the Kappa you want to see win.

2. Give $100. That is the only amount accepted — every donation is exactly $100, and it is credited to the brother you picked.

3. The most credited donations wins. The brother with the most credited $100 donations is named Community's Kappa Man of the Year. To qualify, a brother must reach at least 10 donations ($1,000).

How much can I give?

Only $100 per donation. There is one amount, and it is $100 — that is what the building requires, and it keeps the competition fair for every brother.

Can I give more than $100?

Yes. Complete another separate $100 donation. You can support the same brother again, or spread your votes across different brothers — each $100 donation counts on its own.

Who wins Kappa Man of the Year?

The brother with the most credited $100 donations when the campaign closes. A brother must reach at least 10 donations ($1,000) to qualify.

What happens if the $100,000 goal isn't reached?

Every gift stays in the Legacy Fund, designated for the property purchase, and the fund keeps building toward it. No gift is spent on anything else.

Can I support more than one brother?

Every dollar donated on this page goes to the Legacy Fund, designated for one purpose: purchasing a property in Troy, Alabama for the Troy Alumni Chapter. That is a promise about the fund — and it is the only promise we make.

We make no plaque, naming, or building-tied promises to donors. If the campaign falls short of the goal, the money raised stays in the Legacy Fund and keeps building toward the purchase.
